Nature is the Teacher. Always. There is a connection between Reflexology and Music. Reflexology is a very advanced therapy that treats the body internally. It is based on the organs; however, it can treat every area of the body. Reflexology can be used to access the area that is week or in spasm. The therapist can then go to that area and treat it the traditional way or through the feet.
I am amazed at the thickness of the plantar of the foot. The deeper you dig the more you feel the entire lay out of the human body.. Knowing the anatomy is very important and having a chart nearby is necessary. I remember the first time I felt the diaphragm. My client had a breathing problem. I was overcome with the silence and pensiveness of my fingers as they moved through layers and layers looking for the diaphragm. I knew when I got there. It felt just like the chart. My client took a deep breath! That validated that i was at the diaphragm. "Tory, I was just going to tell you that you are at the diaphragm."
I am becoming more and more aware that we have not researched the plantar enough. It appears to me that this is a "rug" on top of energetic portals that have not been discovered. The shape of the arch of the foot is a mirror of the shape of the human body. A high arch indicates a very compressed abdominal area. The area needs to be the shape of a "bowl" so the intestines have space to function. A high arch crunches the are much as a "banana". Look at the picture of the foot and transpose the "deep crunch" and you will understand.
Reflexology is profound. I would say it is the "Book of Knowledge". It is a mirror of the internal body.
Reflexology is a profound treatment based on Chinese Medicine releasing imbalanced and dysfunctions within the viscera of the body.
I have never seen people get as relaxed as with Reflexology. It is so thrilling for me to see this response.
